How to play

Each day one city's sky is described in six clues, the vaguest first: its day, its year, its noon shadow, its moon, its stars and its clock.

Each day offers the same twelve cities. Choose one after each clue: a wrong guess turns the next clue. You have six guesses, and once the day is over each guess shows how near it came.

Everyone plays the same sky on the same day, here and in Sol. A shared result never names the city.

Sol for iPhone · Coming soon

In Sol, the Almanac and the Gnomon share one card each day, under the same number, and a city you find can join your World board.
