Tonight’s sunset, on your page.

Choose a city and what it shows.

One script tag.

Paste it where the embed should appear. It places the frame there, sizes it to what it shows, and adds a one-line credit that links to the forecast.

It carries what you chose above as data-size, data-date and data-moment, and you can change them by hand: data-moment takes golden, blue, last-light, sunrise or golden-morning.

Or a plain iframe.

For sites that do not allow scripts. Keep the link under it: it is what your readers tap to see the whole sky.

What to know.

• Any of 82 cities

The city is named by its address on Sol: los-angeles, tokyo, sao-paulo. Every city.

• Rebuilt every night

The forecast, the times and the sky are rebuilt every night, and worked out again when a reader arrives.

• Light to load

About 40 KB over the wire, then cached, and about 75 KB for the moon with its photograph. The sky is painted on the reader’s device. No cookies, and nothing is counted about your readers beyond a number of views.

• Yours to size

Choose a dress with data-size: compact is one row for a sidebar, and card adds the evening’s times. The script version grows to fit what it shows; give an iframe its width and height.
