Where it sets, and what it reads.
You stand at the middle of your horizon. The dots are the sun’s path today, warm where the light turns golden. The marks toward the sunset show the cloud forecast there.
What the forecast reads.
The forecast weighs the cloud overhead against the cloud to the west. Some cloud overhead catches the colour, but a clear path to the west lets the light reach it.
Cloud overhead
—
High and middle cloud, where the colour is caught.
Clear to the west
—
The cloud between you and the setting sun.
